Carolina Luna
 

Carolina Luna is a PhD student at Columbia’s Art History & Archaeology department. Her research critically addresses the western reception of non-western objects, with a special focus on the role of exhibitions in the construction of aesthetic imaginaries of the pre-hispanic throughout the twentieth century. Previously, Carolina was a lecturer of Philosophy and Museum Studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) in Lima. She has also held internships at the Brooklyn Museum and the Center for Book Arts in New York. Carolina has an M.A. in Arts Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. and Lic. in Philosophy from PUCP.
