Professor Jessica Lamont (Yale, Classics) will be on campus to discuss her new book In Blood and Ashes: Curse Tablets and Binding Spells in Ancient Greece (Oxford UP, 2023) on Friday, October 6, 11:00-1:00, Room 509 Hamilton Hall.

This in-person event has an author-meets-readers format. After an introduction by Prof. Sailakshmi Ramgopal (CU Department of History), Prof. Lamont will discuss her book, engage in dialogue with Giovanni Lovisetto (CLST), and answer questions from attendees in a seminar-style format.
