AFRICAN CHRONOMETRIC DATING FUND AWARDS 2023-24

     The ACDF has announced its radiocarbon dating funding awards for 2023-24. Chiamaka Lauretta Mangut (PhD student, Department of Earth and Environmental Science, Columbia University) has been given an award for her dissertation research.

The African Chronometric Dating Fund (ACDF) is an initiative of the Society of Africanist Archaeologists (SAfA), the PanAfrican Archaeological Association (PAA), and the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA). It encourages applications from scholars seeking to improve regional radiocarbon chronologies within the African continent.
